New appointments strengthen team at apT

Planning, development and environmental consultancy, apT has added a number of new members to its team in order to continue its excellent work within the public sector.

Based in Telford, apT offers industry-leading support to housing developers, commercial developers and individuals homeowners as a part of Telford and Wrekin Council. The services the consultancy provide include preparing and submitting planning applications, highway design, audits and adoptions and ensuring that construction projects safely navigate through building regulations.

While its expertise is already wide-reaching, the consultancy has recently taken on a number of new staff members to ensure it meets the evolving needs of its clients.

The new specialist team members include Penny McKnight, a heritage specialist, Laurence David and Mark Latham who are ecologists and green infrastructure specialists and a new assistant building control surveyor Nicola Corfield. A number of highways project engineers, site engineers and assistants have also joined the team.

These new staff announcements are in addition to the promotion of Ian Lowe and Martha Fletcher who move into the roles of principal planner and planner respectively.

Valerie Hulme, the Group Manager for apT has stated that they are delighted to have welcomed such a wide range of talent and expertise and that clients can be sure that when they come to apT for planning and development support, they are able to get a bespoke tailored solution to help them overcome any hurdles.
